safe as houses

I have been making a lot of houses lately, big ones and tiny ones.
My scupltural houses have been an interesting exploratiopn  for me. I think about houses and all they can mean. They can be a home, a safe place a sancyuary or they can be a polace of doby and wiorry
people can hide in their hopuses ort thery can opern their houses ti their friends and familu.
Our family can be ibnn our houses and it doesn't  lways  make ity se]afe. peoiple can lose theirt hopuses
banks can take them away. they contain us and all our energy and emotions.
i like to think of houses as extentions of the peolt  e that inhabit them. they are sort of a shell hundertwasser called them our third skins
