Still waiting...

I am still waiting for spring. When I woke up this morning to let the dogs out I looked down at the snow on the deck and thought to myself "OH F*CK! Here we go again" and then I looked up across the yard and saw how beautiful everything was. I was glad for the snow.

Winter has been dragging on and on.

I have to remind myself to see the beauty in it.

I haven't been around here much I'm either to busy to blog-or too unispired. I am hoping to update at least once a week for the new year.
I'm working on updating my website, hopefully that will be done soon.

first day

Tuesday was my girl's first day of kindergaten! She walked up the steps all by herself. She is a bold little girl! I was very proud of her.

crackle pendants

These are the crackle pendants. I indicated 40mm & 50mm with pencil lines so you have a good idea of the size.
Some of the glazes crackled much more then others. It is difficult to tell in the photos how much crackle some have.

Latest Work

These are my latest pendants. I call them "Spirit Houses"
These were inspired by a friends trip to Thailand. Where spirit houses are placed in public and private spaces as places for spirits to dwell.
I have made a miniaturized interoperation for personal adornment to honor the spirit that dwells in all of us.
Each one is individually made of stoneware assembled using pearls, or semi precious stones.
They are priced starting at $25
