The Ann Arbor Art Fair is behind me. It was great, but there is relief that it is over.
As an artist that spends most of her time working alone, it can be very exciting and overwhelming to come face to face with so many people. I get to meet people who are inspired and touched by my work, but it can be tiring too. You have to give away your energy.
I feel most comfortable alone working. That is when I find my prayer. I am plugged into something bigger then myself when I am creating.
I am happy to start back to work on some new pieces. I will be doing the Bucktown Art Fest in Chicago at the end of the month with my sculptures. I need to make a lot of work!
I have been blessed with inspiration and I can't wait to get my hands into the clay. That is how I recharge my soul.
